Special Educational Needs
Most children's educational needs are met by our approach to learning and teaching and our early years curriculum. This means we are able to cater for a wide range of interest and experience. However, some children may well need more specific help.
We follow the code of practice for Special Educational Needs. If your child has additional needs, we shall talk through their difficulties with your first. We will then draw up an individual educational plan with you and review your child's progress regularly together.
We work closely with the service for Special Educational Needs, speech therapists, educational psychologist, health visitors, and the Child Health Department based at Westgate House, Southmead Hospital.
