Our Aims

At Filton Avenue Nursery School, we strive to provide a welcoming, caring, safe and stimulating environment for everyone who is, or becomes, part of our school community.

We believe that children and adults learn best when they feel valued and empowered to take their part in sharing control and decision making.

We see children as strong, powerful, competent and active learners who need opportunities to make real choices and decisions, supported and encouraged by adults.

We believe we can encourage children to become lifelong learners by providing a rich, broad, balanced and relevant curriculum and through working in genuine partnership with parents/carers and the wider community.
